Order management – with or without ERP interface
If it is available, you can use the corresponding functions in your business system and create new orders there. The orders are then imported into Handyman via an interface. Here you can find service management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central , NAV/Navision , SAP or other ERP systems . Handyman is also comprehensive field service management software .
The current, recurring service orders are generated automatically via the maintenance plan. New orders for new installations, troubleshooting or repairs can be easily created – of course with reference to the specific system and with a link to the service history of the device in question.
Resource planning for technicians
The orders created in Handyman or via the ERP interface are automatically displayed in Handyman’s resource planning. With a clear planning committee, the planning department always has an overview.
The clear planning board always gives you an up-to-date overview of the timetables. This way, you can always find employees with the right skills and schedule them for the job. Changes to the plan can be easily made by dragging and dropping the GANTT chart.
Route planning and route optimization
Open and already scheduled orders are displayed on a map. In this way, the trips can be planned efficiently and economically. Alternatively, Handyman can also take over automatic route optimization. With the push of a button, travel time is reduced and the service technician’s productivity is increased.
App/service engineer for mobile data collection
When the service planning is complete, the order proposals are synchronized directly with the technicians‘ mobile devices (Android, iOS, Windows). In the Handyman Mobile app, technicians and fitters in the field have access to all the details and agreements of the order. On the mobile, they can manage mobile time reporting, material booking, mobile photo documentation and fill in checklists and reports. The digital service report is displayed on your smartphone (or tablet/laptop) – ready for electronic signature. Changes to the status and deadlines for an order are naturally transferred directly to resource planning. In this way, resource planning always has an up-to-date status and a complete picture of the situation.
Order completion and invoicing
After syncing with Handyman Mobile, completed jobs are fully accessible in Handyman Office. If necessary, they can then be checked, corrected and approved in the system. If invoicing is to take place in ERP, the orders are now exported to ERP. Alternatively, invoicing can be done in Handyman. Via an export interface to the financial system, eg Visma e-conomics interface, the invoices are then transferred to the financial system.
